BBFI Missions Center

Nestled on 10 acres in Springfield, Missouri, this thoughtfully designed campus seamlessly combines a modern professional workplace with a supportive living community for retiring missionaries. The first phase, completed in 2024, introduces a striking 13,273-square-foot office building with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Its two-story volume features exposed wood ceilings and structural elements, blending sleek, modern aesthetics with functionality. A strategically placed central core ensures accessibility by efficiently separating public and private spaces, while a high-performance envelope guarantees airtightness and thermal efficiency for long-term sustainability.

Phase Two, set for completion in 2025, expands the campus with a 5,632-square-foot community center and 11,974 square feet of housing, designed to accommodate both short-term and long-term stays. Guided by a master plan that prioritizes simplicity and efficiency, these additional spaces balance cost-effectiveness with thoughtful design details. Together, the campus offers a forward-thinking environment that reflects organizational vitality while providing an affordable, comfortable home for those who’ve dedicated their lives to service.
